I never realized that comics are a very old art form. I was never attracted to them, but I now see why so many youths in the past have been so captivated... comics allow one to explore their creative side. There's something fundamental about the way we "fill the gaps" between thoughts and ideas. I think comics should actually be viewed as somewhat of a creative exercise.
