I chose to cite Sustainable Agriculture because their definition of sustainability,"Sustainable agriculture refers to the ability of a farm to produce food indefinitely, without causing irreversible damage to ecosystem health.", is the prominent one I have come to know.
Societal Collapse seemed like a good page to reference because it describes the consequences if sustainability does not have a place in society.
Climate is a valuable concept to grasp it terms of sustainability because the climate determines the world we live in.
Anthropogenic activities are those cause by human influences, therefore they do not occur naturally. It is important to understand this because human inactivity has a large part to play in the changing of the earth's climate. Renewable energy is one of the biggest concerns in our world today because of the impact fossil fuel make on our world.
As stated in my Gang of Music page, I redefined the term 'sustainability' in a way that made sense to me. “Habits, technologies, and practices that don’t prohibit or omit the existence of future generations”. I would add this definition to the Wikipedia page as an abridged version or brief definition.
