-why is education important to the sustainability of Africa?

-because the people need to be taught how to better take care of themselves

-Rachel mentions that "today people are more aware of our global economy and global warming then in the past" --- Where does this awareness come from? Why are people today more aware than previous generations? Could it be due to better education that leads to this increased awareness?

-This awareness/education of the current state of Africa is crucial in order for countries to know how they can contribute to the solution; whenever there's a problem of any kind, before you can find any solution to it, you must first assess the problem itself and be fully aware of it
