My five links:
Sustainable Art
Grassroots Democracy
Abahlali baseMjondolo
The Economist-I followed this link because while I was on holiday, I bought this magazine in the London Airport and thoroughly enjoyed it.
American Sycamore
I read through each article and the first thing that caught my eye was a word that I had never heard of before in the Abahlali baseMjondolo article. Usually when this happens, the word is highlighted in blue so I can simply click on the foreign word and in a few seconds be relieved of my ignorance. This is why I was mildly shocked when the word "xenophobia" was in the standard black and white text. I knew this was my chance to complete the assignment. I went back to the wikipedia homepage and searched for "xenophobia". Of course there was an abundance of information that greeted my eyes, as it is with the usual informative wikipedia page, but the only difference was that there were three notifications at the top of the page. The first one invited me to contribute to the page, the second warned me that the given information was not a worldwide view, and the third told me that recent events may have affected this information.
Anyway so i set up the link to xenophobia on the Abahlali baseMjondolo and now I feel a lot better.
